I am English, a proud Prestonion ! I have a Bachelor degree in Mathematics and statistics with a Master in Education to top it up! In 2013 I left the UK after teaching mathematics to college students, however it became evident that my real talent lay within the application of pedagogy. During my masters, one of my lecturers said something which left an incredible mark on my future, a lasting effect on what soon bacome my specialism, he stated, “a true teacher has the ability to explain 1 concept in a thousand different ways and not the inverse!”, better known as the approach named “differentiation”. I realised that this was the key to success. I needed to adapt my lessons to the individuals infront of me.
Some years later I opened English 4 French in the beautiful village of Saint Rémy-de-Provence. This is where I began to apply the method ‘differentiation’ to adults learning English as opposed to mathematics to children ! This was a fabulous challenge and the results were overwhelming. In 2019 I opened our second centre in L’isle-sur-la-Sorgue and in the summer of 2020 we created the E-Ateliers. We transformed all our lessons into a digital format, the concept of unlimited ateliers are now available to everyone on France!
Over the past 7 years I have searched high and low for the right team to apply my methods and little by little the Dream Team emerged!
